I don't know, I really loved MO but at the same time it really seemed to hate FNV for some reason. So I moved back to NMM but decided to try the new beta 6.0 and since moving back, I have about 88 mods installed with no problems. My max number of mods with MO was about 66. The part I didn't like so much as the fact that the more mods I installed with MO the more unstable FNV got.

With MO you can install a mod and are given a popup window wheere you can uncheck certan parts of the mod u dont need/want, re-arrange the mod to suit your needs and so on.

It offered some advanced features NMM didn't so I tried it out and loved it. Then I saw a video on youtube by Gopher about a new mod manager called Mod Organizer. Next, you'll have to activate the mod in the game launcher, in the Data files section. So I started off using NMM like everyone else. Special Edition: "selected drive":\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edtion\Data Skyrim: "selected drive":\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\Data The following is the deafault Data folder location: Mods can be installed manually by copying the mod files into the Data folder located in the main game folder.

Manual download in turn, enables you to save the mod to a location of your choice. The first option will have the Nexus Mod Manager handle the download and installation preparations. You can do it either with the manager or manually.
